2026 Booking Guide
Welcome! I am so honored to be considered as the photographer for your family’s most special moments in life. Capturing the memories of families from all walks of life for the past 15 years and, as a mama of 3 not-so-littles, I see first hand every single day, that photographs link us to our sweetest moments in life. It is my goal to provide those moments through intimate and affordable photography experiences.
I hope to answer questions before they come up, but any & all questions are welcome at any point during our interactions with one another! I can’t wait to work with you.
HOw to book your session
Once a session has been decided on, notify me and the next step will be to electronically sign a contract and pay a $100 flat rate retainer on an itemized invoice that shows a breakdown of payments and their due dates. Estimated due dates act as a placeholder on my schedule and, after baby is born, we work together to select a session date that works best for everyone.

What to expect for your session
Once baby is born and we’ve decided on a date for baby’s session, two days prior to the session, I send a prep guide sharing what to do in the hours at home leading up to our time together to ensure a sleepy baby. Included in that guide is a questionnaire portion where any special requests for the session can be made. All of the details for the session will have been worked out in the days leading up to it, so that the day of, is all about relaxing & getting the images you dream of!
Newborn sessions are scheduled on weekdays, not later than 12 pm. They can last up to 2-3 hours long, all depending on the cooperation of baby and which session is choosen.
What happens after your session
Each collection offers a select amount of digital images. Within two business days of the session, a proof gallery of the best images from the session will be sent through e-mail. These initial images will be unedited. Clients select their favorite images from the proof gallery according to the appropriate amount for the session that has been booked. There will be opportunity to buy more or all of the images.
Each image in the final gallery will be hand picked as the client’s personal favorites and will be edited with a bright, natural & timeless style with high attention to detail.
Please allow up to 3 weeks for the final editing process. After the gallery is completed, it is sent through email, with detailed steps on how to access the online gallery and download the images, along with a contract for printing release.

Booking + Policies
Retainer
$100 non refundable retainer and electronic signing of contract is required with in 48 hours of receiving invoice and contract e-mails, in order to finalize the booking process. A session date will not be held until the retainer is received and the contract is signed. Prices are subject to change. Contractual agreement locks client in at prices during booking process. Additional products or services offered may be added on at the time of booking in order to lock in product prices.
Payment
Final payment must be submitted by the date of the session; accept payments by cash, check [made out to Christie Leigh] or credit card directly through your invoice. Payment plans available upon request.
Session guidelines
All newborn sessions are photographed during on weekdays, not after 12 pm. In cases where a family pose is included and one partner or spouse has to return back work right away, the family portion only may be scheduled at a time separate from the newborn portion, that works best with everyone’s schedules.
Cancellation
Any retainer or additional payments made towards a session booked with Christie Leigh Photo are non-refundable. In case of cancellation, the photographer must be notified at least 24 hours before of the scheduled session. Previous payments will be applied to a newly rescheduled session within 10 days of the original session date. [Mini sessions require 48 hour cancellation notice and are not rescheduled.]
Post-production
Client’s proofing gallery will be posted with all unedited images within 2 business days. Final galleries will be posted within 3 weeks of image selection from proofs. Client will be notified with detailed instructions on how to access, download and order images. Galleries are live for 30 days and are subject to a fee to reactivate for download.
Travel Policy
Travel for any session over 100 total miles from Cortland, OH is $100 plus 50 cents per additional mile. Sessions held at requested locations are subject to travel fees, per the mileage guidelines.
