Pink + Neutral | Newborn Session

Baby Siena is the this family’s third baby, second girl. Each baby has gotten their own debut at my home studio in Cortland, Ohio and, as fun as it is to have toddlers assist me during sessions, I do love getting that one-on-one time with newborns. I’m not even sure that I saw Siena’s eyes the whole time we were together. She was so peaceful and sleepy for her posed newborn session.

Family’s have a hand in styling their own sessions and it’s made so easy through a few simple questions on a custom questionnaire that I send before each newborn session. Siena’s colors were pink, ivory and tan [hello contrast, making that fluffy hair POP!] The questionnaire also fills you in on what to do at home, prior to leaving for your session. One of those steps is a bath, sometimes it’s only the first or second one at home and parents are sometimes shocked at what their baby hair looks like for picture day- haha!
